Grace Park

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Grace Park began studying piano at the age of 8 and moved to the United States when she was 12. Throughout her musical journey, she has performed at a wide variety of venues, and is a prizewinner of many competitions, including the Gold medal at the International Keyboard Odyssiad Festival, Third Place in the Kawai Competition, and Third Place at the Colorado Piano Festival. She has had the honor of working with notable musicians including Matthew Dirst, Olga Kern, Anton Nel, and Jean Saulnier.

Grace is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she studied with Doris Lehnert and Jennifer Hayghe. In May 2019, she graduated with a Master of Music degree from the Peabody Institute at the Johns Hopkins University. During her study at Peabody, she was a recipient of the Artistic Excellence Scholarship, under the tutelage of Marian Hahn. She has collaborated with many instrumentalists and has also taken harpsichord and organ lessons.

Ms. Park has been successfully teaching students of all ages and levels for nearly a decade. She has played and taught music by many composers, including Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, and Prokofiev, among many others. She loves sharing with her students what she has learned and discovered in the past 18 years. Working with many notable teachers has taught her a wide variety of pedagogic methods for teaching diverse piano techniques, ranging from healthy and ergonomic to emotionally expressive.
