Yevanhelina But is a distinguished pianist from Ukraine. Her lifelong passion for music began at the age of four. Her early dedication and talent led her to the prestigious Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum, where she graduated in 2020 with honors. Yevanhelina recently graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with a dual degree in Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano. Her academic journey in the United States has been marked by numerous achievements and accolades, reflecting her commitment to excellence in solo and collaborative settings.
Yevanhelina is a laureate of many international piano competitions in Ukraine and the United States. Her exceptional skill and artistry have earned her the opportunity to perform in some of the most revered venues, including the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, the House of Scientists, and the Mykola Lysenko House Museum-Memorial in Kyiv, as well as notable American venues such as the Ukrainian National Museum in Chicago, the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in Chicago, and Indiana University in Bloomington, among many others.
In addition to her solo recitals, Yevanhelina is passionate about collaboration and teaching. Her vision extends beyond performance; she aspires to share her knowledge and inspire the next generation of musicians. With her recent graduation, she is eager to continue her career in teaching and accompaniment, with the long-term goal of establishing a music school. Her dream is to create an institution that combines the rich musical traditions of Ukraine with innovative approaches to American music education, fostering a nurturing environment for young, talented musicians.
