David De Jerez Bond is a Denver based music teacher with a professional background in Psychology and Music. He works primarily as a Music Therapist for children and young adults with autism, but also teaches private lessons and plays music professionally. He is a volunteer student instructor for the Armonía section of the Metro State Denver Mariachi Orchestra and plays with a professional Mariachi group. He also has a background as a Metal guitarist spanning over two decades and currently leads a progressive deathcore group in the Denver area.
David has an Associates Degree in Psychology and has completed coursework for his Bachelors in Psychology with a double minor in Spanish and Music/Classical Guitar, at Metropolitan State University Denver. He is currently taking additional coursework in African American Music history and World Music.
David has a strong passion for songwriting and has been recording and releasing his own music since 2017. His primary instrument is guitar, and he is comfortable playing and teaching anything from Classical to Metal. He also has experience in many different roles as a multi instrumentalist and can teach students of all ages and backgrounds in Guitar, Drums, Voice, and Piano.
