Ms. Rebecca began learning the violin at the age of two, and has been an enthusiast of everything music ever since. Growing up in a musical family, with her mother as her violin teacher and her siblings also playing the violin and the cello, she enjoyed many performance opportunities and collaborations with not just her family but many people within her community. To assist with overflow from her mother's music studio, she began tutoring music students at the age of 15, and believes that it was this experience that ignited her passion for teaching.

Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Music in education and violin performance from Northern Illinois University in 2002, and began teaching in the public schools of Tucson, Arizona, shortly after that. While living in Tucson she earned a Master of Music in education and was excited to transfer what she learned at the University of Arizona into her classroom. She is currently pursuing a PhD in education and hopes to someday prepare future teachers for the amazing experiences that lie within a classroom or private studio setting. She is also an avid runner, hiker, letterboxes, reader, and mom to her fur-baby, Melody, and her feathered-babies, Bianca, Liliah, Zahava, Yophee, and Shabbat. Rebecca currently teaches an array of instruments including violin, mandolin, cello, ukulele, recorder, flute, piano and guitar.
