Jonathan Garcia is a seasoned music educator with a diverse background in instrumental performance, directing, and music composition. His journey in music began during his middle school years when he first picked up the French Horn, igniting a passion that has defined his career.
Throughout his school years, Jonathan immersed himself in various musical ensembles, including concert and marching bands, jazz groups, and orchestras. Proficient in multiple instruments such as French Horn, Trumpet, Percussion, and Piano, he showcased his talents and dedication to music throughout his academic endeavors.
Jonathan pursued his higher education at CSU-Pueblo, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus on Education. Continuing his academic pursuit, he obtained a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of Kansas.
During his academic journey, Jonathan's musical talents were recognized through his participation in prestigious events such as the Intercollegiate Band. Additionally, his teaching prowess was evident as he led a K-12 school in East Kansas to achieve Superior Ratings at State Festivals after decades of absence.
