Nirvan Jamshidi began teaching music in 2014 but began his musical journey at the age of four when he began taking lessons on piano. At the age of ten, he took interest in the guitar, at fifteen he started lessons on bass, and at eighteen he started drumming.
He was in his high-school's elite choir as the lead bass vocalist, and was the pianist for his high-school jazz ensemble. He was also a student instructor for a Guitar 1 class. In college he took 2 music theory courses and 1 music production course, has interned at a local music studio, and is currently a drummer for two local bands. Nirvan has also been a drummer/guitarist for hire for several other bands and music videos.
Nirvan wanted to start teaching because he has always had a passion for music and enjoys sharing that passion with others. Nirvan likes to tailor each of his lessons to ensure that each of his students are on the right track to express themselves with music as freely as possible. His teaching style is a combination of by-the-book and improve so that his students can learn all the technicalities of their instrument as well as learn how to be creative.
