Amanda Crumley has always been drawn to music and music-making. Amanda grew up singing in choirs at school and in church, later moving to Greeley, Colorado, where she received her Bachelor of Music Education degree in Voice/ Piano. In Greeley, her passion for jazz was ignited and shortly after graduating, she moved to Chicago to pursue her Masters in Jazz Voice.

Chicago offered a huge array of opportunities from classical choral to jazz. Amanda has sung with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, the Grant Park Chorus, and also with chamber ensembles such as Bella Voce and many others. After performing on the jazz scene for a few years, she began writing her own original bluegrass/country-inspired music and formed her Americana band, Mandy and the Bandits. She and her band performed extensively throughout the region, and released two albums of original music. After ten years in Chicago, the desert called her back and Amanda moved to Los Angeles, where she continued teaching and honing her songwriting chops. She also picked up Old Time fiddle and a love of Dodgers baseball along the way.

Amanda is extremely excited to be back in Colorado and now resides in the Denver area, where she is a staff singer at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and teaches elementary music part-time with Denver Public Schools. She has been fortunate enough to teach wonderful private voice and piano students throughout her career, and looks forward to new opportunities to come.
