Chase Church is a 23 year old composer, pianist, and saxophonist who was born and raised in Rifle, Colorado.
He began learning saxophone at 11 and piano at 12. His piano teacher, Linda Jenks, has always inspired him to be the best musician and composer that he can be. Chase strives to instill the same love for music in his students that Ms. Jenks instilled in him.
Chase obtained his Bachelor's degree in Music Composition at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2021, where he received scholarships for his award-winning band and choir compositions.
He believes that, in many cases, a strong knowledge of music theory is what helps students best understand and perform with their instrument.
