Nick Spreigl is a drummer, songwriter, producer, and educator with over a decade of professional experience performing, recording, and teaching music. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Nick teaches drums, piano, and guitar, offering students a well-rounded and practical approach to learning music.
Nick holds a degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, where he studied under acclaimed educators Jim White and Dana Landry. His musical foundation was shaped by formative training at the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts under Paul Romaine, giving him deep roots in jazz and contemporary music.
As a founding member of the Denver-based band Air Dubai, Nick served as drummer and songwriter, contributing to songs that have amassed over 7.5 million streams on Spotify. His work has been featured on MTV, VH1, Showtime, ESPN, and TNT. Since 2015, Nick has continued to tour internationally with various artists, and his diverse performance experience spans genres and venues worldwide.
Nick’s teaching philosophy centers on fostering creativity, curiosity, and confidence. He believes in meeting students where they are - whether they’re picking up an instrument for the first time or refining their craft - and helping them build both technical skills and their artistic voice. Drawing from his real-world experience, Nick empowers students to connect the dots between practice, performance, and the joys of learning an instrument.
