Ashley is a talented pianist, flutist, and teacher who was adopted into a musical family at the age of 5. At that point, she started her piano journey and quickly grew to love the instrument. Her mother was her first teacher, and helped her develop a solid foundation to grow from.
At the young age of 12, Ashley acquired her first student. At that time, she was at an early advanced skill level herself. Ashley continued learning and teaching throughout childhood, and then attended West Coast Baptist College, where she eared her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. She became the pianist for a very large college choir and also held several positions as church pianist.
Ashley has now been teaching music for over 20 years, and during that time she has had the pleasure of teaching students age 4 to 65. She continues to strive to share the joy of music with not only her students, but with everyone she meets.
